Re: Dupont order

The only thing I can think of is the 2001 case of Dupont where it was held that the county could not charge post-judgment interest on entire amount of arrears where there were installment payments previously ordered.

In the Dupont case, there was an order setting former husband's arrears and child support obligation and requiring monthly installments. There was a determination that it was an installment judgment subject to accruing interest as to each installment on the date the installment came due, and that the county was not entitled to belatedly assess postjudgment interest on the entire amount of judgment from date of its entry.
