Which is the effective date of a dissolution of marriage: date of the hearing or the date it gets filed with the court? Which code is that in?

The effective date is the date the judge signs the judgment, not the date of the hearing or the date it is filed, unless the judgment is entered "nunc pro tunc" which means the judge orders it effective at a date earlier than he or she signs it. There are certain grounds for doing that, and you would have to ask the judge for it to be done that way.
