Legal Question in Family Law in California

emancipation

my son is 17 and no longer wishes to follow the rules in my house. I live in California. He wants to move out with friends and I will give my consent if those are his wishes. How do I go about this, or can he just move out without doing anything.

Unless he has a means of support, you are responsible for his support. He must be self supporting to be emancipated.
