embezelment

is it legally ok for an ex husband to take money out of a joint account that he and his ex wife have had prior to marriage? My ex took money out of an account that i kept that has his name on it. Our divorce papers say that in Jan 2005 we split everything 50 50, so i have been told that he has no right to the funds in that account. He has has no activity on that account in over two years. Just me. Help.

If it was your funds in the account then it was your money, although both names were on the account. You will need to bring a motion to get a judgment for the amount that heGood Luck, Pat McCrary took.
