Legal Question in Family Law in California

Emotional/ Abuse

I am in a 3 year old marriage. My wife is extremely abusive with her words, emails and text. When you read under the term emotional abuse, I fall right under with all the signs and actions. (Name calling, controlling, isolates me from friends/ family) and on and on) I do have proof of it because I have saved all my emails and text and keep a log of all the things she says. If I file for divorce can I bring this into court to help with child custody and other things I might not be aware of? What should I do? I am still in the home and want to leave???
