Employee owned stock

I am a single mom with 2 kids. My husband was reciently incarcerated for 40 yrs and will be unable to assist with childcare expenses. He does have employee owned stock in the company he used to work for. I dont think he will just hand it over to me. Is there a way to get it in lue of child support?

Yes, if you have a child support order in place, you can receive child support in many forms.
