Legal Question in Family Law in California

Enforce court order for alimony

Is there a way to enforce court order alimony payments

without having to go to court again? How can I get the

court to assign payments be paid by wage assignment?

My ex was ordered to pay $200 mo. $100 on the 1st, $100 on the 15th. On Dec. 28 I got a check for $100,

corresponding to 2nd half of Sept. He's in arrearages

of $700. I'm tired of calling to ask him for money.

I did all the divorce myself (in pro per), and I'm

kind of stuck now.

Thank you for your help!

Re: Enforce court order for alimony

You can file papers with the court to get a wage assignment which will automatically be granted.
