Legal Question in Family Law in California

Enforcement

I live in San Diego and my daughter and her mother live in Perris, California (118 miles away). I have my daughter for weekend visits every other weekend. My ex is not respecting the agreement and making plans on my weekends, talking to our daughter about the divorce and basically playing games. What can I do to enforce the court-ordered decision w/out marring our daughter's mind. I'm continuously being made to wait (average 23 minutes) each time I appear at their door. I call my daughter and don't get a reply. Please help. I don't have a lot of money.

Re: Enforcement

You should review your case with an attorney who does child custody to give you several ideas concerning enforcement of your custody. There are several different solutions, however, much more detail is needed. You will probably need to bring a motion to modify the current order so the interference is not possible. Pat McCrary
