Enforcement of out of state capias

I have finally found the dead beat dad that owes me $40,000. Unfortunately he is in calf. How do i get the calf courts to enforce my capias/judgement?

You can enforce it without using the Department of Child Support Services, which may take several months to enforce. You need to register the order in the California county tht he lives and then you can have a wage assignment issued, file an abstract of judgment and otherwise enfoce the order as if it were a California order. I do not recommend using government services as they take too long to begin enforcement. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

Try sending it to the D.A.'s support enforcement division in the county he resides.
