Legal Question in Family Law in California

Enforcing Child Custody

I'm the non-custodial parent and I'm supposed to have two months with my son over the summer. His father refuses to let me pick him up according to our prearranged dates.

How do I enforce my child custody rights? How can I get a court order?

Re: Enforcing Child Custody

You need to get a court order by filing a motion. Child custody battles are confusing so an attorney would be very helpful. Otherwise u may consult with self help books at the library.

Good luck.

As always contact an attorney in your area if you have additional questions.
