Engagement Ring laws
My fiance recently broke up with me and now wants my ring back, he even says he will bring a cop to my door to get it back. Do I legally have to give it to him, since HE broke it off with me and I still want to work things out?

Neither who broke it off nor your desire to try and work it out is relevant to you question. If the ring was a gift it would be yours. The issue of ownership of the ring is a civil matter and is not a criminal matter.
