Legal Question in Family Law in California
My estranged husband and i have been seperated for a little over a year now and are finally going through a divorce. We were married in 2007. He was the main source of income and i was also on his medical insurance. Since we've been seperated im not making enough money to afford medical insurance. But i need it because i am diabetic. I was told that eventhough we are divorcing, i have been dependant on his insurance for at least 3 years, he has to keep me on it. Is this true?

At the very least, he is prohibited under the automatic restraining orders from dropping you as a beneficiary to the insurance, pending resolution of the divorce.
