How do you evict an 18 year old stepchild ?

My wife and I purchased--name removed--home when we were unmarried as Joint tenants. We live in the house today as husband and wife with her son, my step son.

Question: How do I evict my 18 year old step son with out my wife's approval?

Unless you have exclusive use and possession of the home you cannot remove your stepson without your wife's approval. If that is what you want to do you will need to file for a dissolution or legal separation. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
