Legal Question in Family Law in California

please excuse the grammer..

this question is regarding my brother... his ex girlfriend recentley told him that her 1 1/2 year old daughter is his and not her recent boyfriends.... so anyway they got a DNA test and the resaults showed that the baby WAS my brothers.. so my brother and the mother of the child and the baby have been spending alot of time togather and all of a sudden she doesnt want my brother to beable to ses the baby.. is there anything my brother can do and if so .. what should be his first step?

Your brother needs to take the mother to court to file a parentage action to determine the parents of the child an support and visitation custody for the child. He needs to speak with local self help center and ask for assistance on how to file a parentage action against the mother. He should also file for custody and visitation.
