Legal Question in Family Law in California

i need help my ex-husband and i have 50-50 of our children and we have been court ordered not to move our children out of san diego, unless you get it court aproved. he has taken it upon himself to move out of san diego to camp pendleton and take the kids with him on his days. he will be breaking our orders. what do i do? i dont feel that doing this is in the best intrest of our children and he never told me he was moving. my children did. i wasnt givn any address as to where my children will be or anything. i am at a loss and a bit angry cause the father thinks its ok to get the children up at 5:00am if not earlier in the morning just so he can get them down here for school. which would be over an hour drive i think.

i called the police station and all they told me was if i want to know where my kids will be have your kids call you with the addy. i am sorry but you dont involve children

It appears that your husband is in compliance with the order if he still resides in San Diego County. If however, he is violating the court order you need to go back to court. Unless you or your children are in some kind of danger (including violence or abduction among other things) it is usually better to simply file the appropriate motions with the court rather than involving the police.

If you want your ex-husband's address you should ask him for it. If he does not give it to you go to court and get a court order.
