Legal Question in Family Law in California
How can I keep my ex-husband away from my house?
I've been divorced for about 11 years, but my ex-husband still shows up at my house unannounced. I had his wages garnished 10 years ago, but he extra expenses like sports, summer camps, etc., he doesn't help pay for. I pay for all the sports for my kids, and my ex-husband shows up to take credit for it all. He harrasses my kids on their cell phones (that I pay for) and tries to get information about what we're doing. How can I keep him away from my house, and make him take the kids every other weekend, like most non-custodial dads do. He's come back from his 3rd tour in Iraq and is very confrontational. I need him out of my house. What can I do??

You should probably obtain a restraining order. I would suggest that you talk to a family law attorney who can obtain all of the facts and give you several options. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
