Legal Question in Family Law in California

Ex-husband refusing to refinance personal vehicle leased by both

Background: I am recently divorced and have separated all assets and liabilities with my ex-husband with one exception. He still drives a vehicle that is held by a lease with Bank One in both of our names (in fact, I am the primary leasee). Since divorcing, I have refinanced the lease on my vehicle to remove his name from that liability. However, I have been unsuccessful at getting him to do the same. The lease is currently in month 33 of a 60 month lease-life. I am concerned about my credit and his ability to affect my credit scores.

Question: Is there a way to legally 'force' my ex-husband to refinance this leased vehicle? Do I have any legal recourse?

You would need a court order to require him to refinance.
