Should I expect to see the Judge at a Judicial Custody Conference? What will the setting be like? Also Iam interested in filing a 170.6 what is the time restrictions on that?

If you are representing yourself, you are held to the same standard as an attorney. You are required to be familiar with the local court rules in the jurisdiction where this matter is being heard. If an appearance has already been made before this judge, you can only ask for the judge's removal due to actual bias.
