Legal Question in Family Law in California

Exploitation of no fault for marital gain

Does no fault relives a spouse of all duties and/or responsibility consistent with preserving the soundness of a marriage? Can one individual actions clearly sabotage the marriage for personal gain and get away with it? Are there any cases that speak to this issue?

Thank you!

No fault means that fault is not an issue. The grounds for dissolution of marriage are irreconsiable differences.

I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
