Legal Question in Family Law in California

Ex-spouse lied about income to pay less on Child Support

Because my ex-husband lied about the income he is making, the judge took his word for it and ordered him to pay $104/month on child support payments for our 11 yr old daughter. He told the judge he made minimum wage and his job was temporary. The judge did not ask him for proof. How can I prove to the judge that my ex-husband is making significantly more than what he told the judge?

You will need to subpeona his earnings records. You can also subpeona his bank records. You probably should get an attorney because it appears that the child support you should be recieving will pay for the costs of the attorney. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
