Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex-wife is threatening to cancel my children's health insurance under her name. I explained to her that she can't do this because I am paying for it through child support. The court factored the children's health insurance when my child support payment was determined. Will she get into trouble for cancelling the children's health insurance? Will I get into trouble if I reduced the child support in response to her cancelling the children's health insurance?

If she cancels the insurance you need to go to court and ask that she be held in contempt and/or that your support be adjusted for her cancelling. You cannot safely act on your own to reduce payments rather than going back for a modified order.
