Legal Question in Family Law in California
false accusation of child abuse
I workout at a gym 3-5 days a week. I use their childcare to watch my two youngest children who are 18 months and 4 years old. My 18 month old was born with hypotonia (lack of muscle tone) and has many problems because of it. When I was picking my kids up from babysitting a few weeks ago the girls who work there told me my 4 year old had misbehaved. They said they tried putting him in a time out but that didn't work. I told the girls that time outs don't work with him and he is just a kid that sometimes needs to get smacked. I was laughing when I said this and since I see these people so much I figured they knew I was kidding. I then told them to tell my son if he misbehaves I will take his blanket away. One of the girls thought I meant his bedding and I told her I was talking about a blanket he carries around with him. I had also told these girls that when my youngest kids get sick I give them steroids. My 4 yr old has reactive airway disease and the baby has severe reflex that aspirates into his lungs. This medication is prescribed by my kids docter. One of these girls reported me to cps. They said I give my kids steroids when they are sick and I told them to smack my kid. My 4yr old told me they hit him when I leave him.
