Legal Question in Family Law in California
False Accusations
My friend has had his 5 yr. old removed from his custody because of false accusations that his older daughter was forced to make. He has since been vindicated by a lie detector done by a FBI trained Tech specializing in uncovering preditors. Since then, the aunt who had custody of both kids has lost custody of the little girl, and the girl is ready to recant, and exlain the threats she was under. Our attorney isn't communicating with us and we go to court Sept. 26. What can we do is this lawyer doesn't come thru? How can we rescue this little boy. His sister tells us that the aunt is sexually molesting him so he will behave like a moldested child. This is a horror story, and it is true. Noble v Hansen, in the Sacto, CA courts. Do you have any advise? We are desparately afraid for this little boy. His sister says that she was molested by the aunt as well. Pls help if you can.

Re: False Accusations
If your attorney isn't doing his job, you need to hire another attorney who is prepared to act. However, you are about to go to court. If he doesn't come through on the date of the hearing, ask for a continuance and explain to the judge that the attorney isn't responding and that you need a new attorney. Ask for a 1 or 2 week continuance.
