Family and child protection

My wife and I are going through divorce, the new person in her life has a criminal background with multiple arrests for DUI's and assault and battery. I still want my wife to be able to see my son, but how can I protect my 9 year old son from being around this guy.

you can get a restraining order stating that he's not to be around your son.
