Legal Question in Family Law in California

My family court judge has retired as of Sept. 1. We saw him on Aug. 3 and have been waiting on his findings/rulings and have received nothing. What happens now and do I need to calendar another date or will my matter be referred to his replacement.

Best refer that question to the court clerk. Many judges "retire" to maximize pension and related benefits, but then stay on under various programs to keep the workflow of the courts going. Others sail off into the sunset. Only your local court can tell you what your particular judge's plans are and what they mean for your decision.
