Legal Question in Family Law in California
Family Law
My ex-husband set the precedence when he doesn't follow the court order, but we are so intimitated by him we do what he says so when my daughter continuously told me that he was abusing her I didn't send her back. I can't physically make her go and don't want to when her safety is in jeopardy. She is 13, soon to be 14. When I went back to the court to get full custody. The judge OSC: Sanctions against Petitioner (me) for failure to obery court orders. I can't physically make her go and don't want to put her in a place where her safety is in jeopardy. How or what do I in my defense to not get fined or jail time?

Re: Family Law
You must examine the contents of the judges orders. If you have been sanctioned for disobeying the orders, you must follow the orders, unless the judge orders otherwise. In certain instances, an emergency remedy by be appropriate. Consult with the family law facilitator in your local courthouse.
