i recently found out my husband filed for divorce. i was not served. he lied and told the court his mother served me. she did not. i also have a small child.do i have any rights.?who do i contact regarding this info...?i'm in los angeles.

You need to file a Response to the Petition ASAP in order to protect your rights. If a default has already been entered, then you will need to file a motion to set it aside on the grounds your were never served.
