Family Law

I share custody of my son with his Mom but I would like him to go to my Mom's for 6 weeks. Do I need to get a court order? My son's mother says it's too long and won't agree to it.

You must get agreement of the other party or a court order. Generally, the court would not grant such an extended stay with a non-parent. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
