How can I transfer my case from Sacramento county, ca. to Eldorado county, Ca., bothpartiesd have lived in El Dorado county for 2 years.

File a motion for change of venue. If both parties agree to the change of venue then a stipulation can be filed with the court. Once an order for change of venue has been made the Sacramento court lacks jurisdiction and Eldorado courts have no jurisdiction until the case has been transferred there. There can be a lengthy time period in which nothing can done in court.
