Legal Question in Family Law in California
My father is behind on child support because of being in prison for many years and is unable to get a grant to go to school to get a GED to find work. What are some things that he can do to fix this?

Your father needs to consult with a family law attorney and also one of the state child support agency staff. Under certain circumstances the state will allow for a lump sum payment that is less than the full amount of owed child support.
