Legal Question in Family Law in California

Father wants equal custody

I have shared custody of my two daughters ages 13 & 11, right now i have about 30% I have them as follows; every other weekend, wed and thur from after school to 8:30 PM and all holidays and school vacation is split equally. My daughters came to me after summer vacation and asked if they could stay overnight on the mid week visits, I live about five minutes from my ex and have maintained that for several years even though I had to move several times due to my lanlords losing their houses because of the california housing market. I am remarried and have two stepchildren and our 2 year old (from current wife) living with us. all of the children get along and love each other very much & mis each other when my two are with their mother. changing the wed & thur to overnights will make it a 50/50 custody, I have mediation next month and financial court date several weeks later, can the kids have any kind of voice in the decision?
