Legal Question in Family Law in California

My father in law passed in Feb. 2021 and had a will leaving half of his estate to his 3 children in an irrevocable trust. My husband died in Oct. 2021 and the estate has not been settled. His family has been working trying g to get thi gs settled because the mother is still alive. I feel since my husband was still alive after his passing I should be entitled to his half of the father's estate. Do I have any legal action I. This case ?

It depends entirely on the terms of the trust. You'll need to talk to a lawyer in person about this with a copy of the trust in hand.
