Legal Question in Family Law in California

Father smoking pot with son

I recently learned my ex-husband has smoked pot in front of our son since our son was age 13. Son is now 17 and his father smokes pot with him at his home. They have both kept this a well-concealed secret. What, if any, legal recourse do I have?

Re: Father smoking pot with son

You can bring a motion to get child custody. You can get a court order requiring the father to not smoke marijuana in front of the child. If the Father denies he is smoking pot you can get a court order requiring a drug test (i.e. through hair follicle screening).
