Legal Question in Family Law in California

my father has been seeing another women for over a month probably longer than that. Can my mom sue him for infedelity? is there anything she can do?

She can file for dissolution of marriage, which is what we call divorce in California. California does not recognize lawsuits for alienation of affection.
