Legal Question in Family Law in California
fathers right to child custody
I was told by my court appointed attorney, that the courts would not allow me custody of my son, for reasons, I have not had any contact with him do to his mother's prevention. The mother was found guilty of abandonment, and my son is now placed in a group home under county supervision being heavly medicated.

Re: fathers right to child custody
There's no legal reason why the court cannot grant you custody under those conditions. The only thing you can do is petition the court can ask.
