Legal Question in Family Law in California

Fathers have no rights, right?

I'm divorced, I pay a HUGE amount of child support to my ex in CA for my daughter. I'm on the verge of losing everything I have. My wife is on medical and has no income to help. I can't afford to see my daughter as much as I'd like. The system has raped me and my ex is unstable. I have taped recordings of her inconsideration of my daughter's well being and my rights as a joint custodial parent. I care about my daughter and the paperwork states that I have certain rights, but when it comes down to it, the law disregards me and the documents that are in place.

Where can I go to get help to try and save my daughter from the hate and spite my ex has for me? It's the only reason she keeps our daughter. Other than that, she feels that our daughter is a pain to HAVE to deal with. I would give my left arm to have to deal with the so-called "pains" that she claims our daughter is. I just want to be with her and watch her grow. HELP!!!

Groups for Fathers' Rights

Wow, I'll have to look up Atty. Moore's recommended site. Just in case they are not on there, look also for Fathers' United, Fighers' Rights, and VOCAL (Victims of Child Abuse Laws). VOCAL has lists of experts, attys, etc. Remember mental abuse is also child abuse. Good luck and don't give up!
