Legal Question in Family Law in California

Father's rights.

My son was divorced 6 yrs. ago and his ex has used his daughter as a weapon to hurt him ever since. He currently has started supervised visits and is taking her to court to get his rights back. He has been accused of ''drinking problem'' which he is taking care of and never used alcohol around his child. The ex keeps the child from him to hurt him and exercises ''emotional abuse'' toward the child if she shows any love for her Dad. Ques.: Does ''unclean hands'' apply to custody cases as she drinks around the child. Ques. How would a person check for any police record on another, in case ex has any record.

Thank you...

Re: Father's rights.

not really, it has to be a situation where you can argue that is is not in the child's best interest. as for the criminal record, contact a private investigator.
