Legal Question in Family Law in California

I feel like my daughter has been ripped away from me! help!

last year in june

I sent my daughter to california for

her birthday to visit her sisters. While

there I received a phone call from My

oldest daughter asking for permission

to keep my youngest daughter there.

I told her I would think about it, they

then went to ssi changed my daughters benefits to there account

behind my back, they refuse to send

her back I signed no guardianship papers, my youngest daughter now

refuses to come back. How is this

legal? what are my options? I never

said yes thanx for your time

The best time to do something about this was in June of 2008. You may still be able to force this matter in WA courts, but the other side can argue that jurisdiction is in CA (because the child has been in CA for more than 6 months).
