Does my fifteen in a half year old daughter have the legal right not to go to her fathers for court mandated weekend visitation. We live in Ca. My told me last time she was depressed and feels alienated when she is there. Her father is 41 and just married a 18 high school senior last april.

She needs to follow the court order. Your best bet is to file an OSC to modify the court order.

Tough question, it depends. In my experience it is doubtful that the police or the court would force your almost 16 year old daughter to go to the visits. The best thing to do is for you to go back to court to get a modification of the visitation so that your daughter does not have to visit unless she wants to.
