Can I file an amended FL120 to change my name before my divorce is final in California?

You can usually request it when the judgment is submitted. If a judgment has already been submitted, you can usually do it through an ex parte application. I suggest talking to the family law facilitator at your local courthouse, after reading this page: http://www.courts.ca.gov/1051.htm#id4326
