Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am currently trying to file for divorce. Both my soon to be ex-husband and I have agreed to an uncontested divorce; but he wants me to pay for all the costs, since it was my idea to file for it in the first place. What can I do? right now I dont have enough money to cover the cost.

I don't practice family law. I know that the superior courts have fee waiver programs. I would think that the court could accept your petition and, when money becomes available, the court might require that it be reimbursed. Check with the free family law clinic associated with the court, if there is one.
