Legal Question in Family Law in California

How can I file a lien on my ex-husband's residence (previously our family home) due to support not being met by $20,000 so far. Court orders are being ignored by my ex-husband.

Contact your local office of the Department of Child Support Services. They will enforce for you. You can't get a lien without a court order. Alternatively you can file an OSC re: contempt. At that level of arrearage you may be able to get the District Attorney interested too, but they will respond quicker to DCSS than an individual.
