Legal Question in Family Law in California
I am trying to file for sole physical and legal custody and my son's father visitation. Two months ago, my son's father and I signed a contract stating that I would agree to joint legal and physical custody as long as he stays within the area and provides for my son, as well as to be civil with me. How can I get that contract void? When it come to being civil, he's violated several times.

You should contact the family court facilitator in your area for self help individuals. Additionally you need to file a motion for custody if there is no custody order in place currently. There are many resources available for self help individuals, please check out your local law library.
For self represented individuals you can consult with the family law facilitator self help center at your local court house.
As always please consult a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck. Also please check out my Santa Clara County Family Lawyer blog.
