Legal Question in Family Law in California

I filed for child support and my sons father filed an Answer-Complaint to Establish Parental Relationship and a Declaration-Income & Expense with L.A. Superior court on 01/28/2011. What does this mean and how do I get a copy of what he filed? Will I be served with the documents he filed? If so, how and/or by whom? Does he have a certain amount of time in which he has to serve me with the documents he filed?

He must serve ou with whatever he filed. He is allowed to serve you by mail at the address on the papers you filed for child support. He should have put them in the mail before he filed them. You should visit the Family Law Facilitator's Office for help understanding what will happen next and what you will need to file in response to his papers.
