Legal Question in Family Law in California

I filed for child support more than a year ago and nothing has happened. The father gets paid under the table so child support told me there is nothing i can do. I am struggling to support her and when i see him he is wearing new shoes and clothes. What can i do?

I presume you are currently working with the Department of Child Support Services. (DCSS). They do not have the resources to locate hidden income especially if the father is trying to actively evade disclosing this information. You may wish to hire a private investigator to discover where father is working under the table and what he is making. Hiring a private attorney skilled in tracking this hidden wage information through formal court ordered discovery is another approach to consider.
