Legal Question in Family Law in California

i have filed for divorce in california in 2011 and with exhusband not being responsive, i don't know when this will be finalized. i would at least like my maiden name back. what would be the proper procedure for this? thank you.

Your spouse doesn't have to be responsive. Did he file a response if not finish with default. If he did schedule the conferences and trial. What it really sounds is that you are lost and really need an attorney. You can't get name back until order final order is done.
