Legal Question in Family Law in California

just filed divorce - do I need to respond ?

My wife and I have just filed initial

paperwork, a very easy and amicable

divorce, no kids, property, debt, or

funds to split. she is seuing ME but I

filed the paperwork! I was told I have

to respond within 30 days, I agree

with everything in the documents, do

I need to respond in that case, if not

what needs to happen after 30 days?

If there is complete agreement on all issues, then the dissolution can be completed by default or uncontested declaration. But first you must complete the disclosure process. Go to the Family Court Facilitator at your courthouse for further guidance. If you do not have a FCF, seek the guidance of an attorney.

I offer these services at affordable rates and can help you through the disclosure process and prepare the final papers for you.

Contact my office if you need further assistance.
