Legal Question in Family Law in California

I filed for divorce in 2008 and my wife and I reconciled and never finalized the divorce. Paperwork was not filed to dismiss the case. Unfortunately, our reconciliation didn't work out. Can I reopen the original case since the six month waiting period and mediation were complete. Also I was awarded a visitation order under this case. Would this still be active? How do i reopen if possible?

Case should be open unless dismissed. Find out by going to court or accessing court records online. Take the next step to move the case forward and it will move forward- as simple as that.
