Well first off, why did you file for legal separation instead of divorce? You should get some legal advice on that. In either case, however, you can file a motion for sole use and occupancy of the family home. You can theoretically do that yourself, but it really sounds like you need to at least get an attorney on board for consultation through this, if not to take on the case for you.
