Legal Question in Family Law in California

If I filed an OSC and they set the date of Dec. 2nd for mandatory arbitration, when will my ex be notified? Will they be "served" with papers?

You have to do it. If you don't, the OSC will be denied.

I agree. You are responsible for making sure that your ex is served with copies of the OSC in a timely manner, not the court. Additionally, I think you are referring to mediation, and not arbitration which is very different from mediation.
